Last Thursday, I went to Islamic Museum and this is second time for me.(First time was when during my primary school). I found out that I can see many different design of mosque.Besides that, there are also many Quran which from different places and different decades.
this is Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque and what make this unique is this mosque is gathered all  the  artisans and material from all over the world like Italy, China, Turkey, Austria, India, Greece, and etc. Although this mosque is built by artisans who from different country and culture, the significant structure of this mosque still exist which is the 'onion' shape structure on the top of this mosque.
is this a mosque? this is the question that i asking myself when i  saw this.  i found out that this really is a mosque and it located at China, Daxuexi Lane. the structure of this mosque is totally different with other which is the 'onion' shape structure is didn't exist in this mosque. what i think that this might be influence by the local culture.beside that, what people at China call the mosque is different with Malaysian. in China, they called mosque as 'ching zhen shi' while Chinese in Malaysia called it as 'hui jiao tang'.

this is Khadja Ahmad Yassaviy Mosque & Mausoleum and what interesting about this mosque is about it's toughness and stability because this mosque is just supporting by wooden materials only.

  1. What did you learn? Discuss these from a designer's point of view. You havent said anything yet about what you learned there. I'm glad you went, but what is the point of the trip if it meant nothing to you and you can't discuss what you learned?
